UNICEF Indonesia’s Country Representative, Ms Debora Comini, made opening remarks on behalf of the development partners.

The HSR reviews progress in the health sector and makes recommendations regarding policies and programs for the coming five years and beyond. UNICEF hosted the secretariat for the review and led inputs from development partners.

The consultation process spanned 18 months – engaging 12 line ministries, 80 government institutions, professional organizations, academics, experts and resource persons.

Under the Government of Indonesia’s stewardship, the HSR will help facilitate the country’s continued leadership towards Universal Health Coverage and the Sustainable Development Goal agenda.
